James A. Carroll, Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists, Geophysics License #6432, is Managing Director of Bell & Murphy and Associates, LLC. Mr. Carroll joined Bell & Murphy and Associates in 1997 as a consulting geophysicist. He has worked as an independent consultant in geophysics since 1992. He is a Petroleum Geophysicist with more than 36 years of active domestic and international experience in both onshore and offshore oil and gas producing provinces. Prior to joining the BMA technical team he was District Geophysicist with Santa Fe Minerals (1988-92), and Chief Geophysicist for Wessely Energy Company/TCPL Resources (1984-88). Prior to Wessely Energy, he held various management positions with Dome Petroleum, Gulf Oil Company and Delta Exploration Company.
He holds active memberships in the Dallas Geophysical Society (past Officer), the Society of Exploration Geophysicist (Silver Certificate Member), the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (Silver Certificate Member) and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers.
Mr. Carroll received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University with postgraduate studies at the University of Houston.
Mr. Carroll also serves on the Board of Directors of the Galleria Credit Union in Dallas.
